Time wasted on social media addiction

It is an incredible addiction that leads people to stay awake at all hours of the night checking their phones, tablets or computers to see who is looking at them. What is the point? People who judge your worth by this kind of answer aren’t worth much. They are losing personal contact with those who can make a difference to them and who can support them as they go through life.

The really bad side is the way it opens up an avenue for harassment by others who act against your best interests. Young children commit suicide because of this and it works both ways. Without the support of family and personal friends, this is driving people to do horrible things.

Terrorists are also using social media to recruit others to their cause. They can get inside the heads of their victims as the conversations are private and dangerous. Many have fallen into the trap and are dead or preparing to die on suicide missions.

This is the modern world and now everything is so available that the authorities cannot deal with it. During the Christmas period, some of these were so disgusting and damaging to the target people that one wonders the motive behind them.

The scary thing is how credible they are. Without going into detail and without publicity, the claims made would have been helpful to those seeking to destroy people’s faith in certain politicians, tennis players, and others.

This is the garbage that permeates children’s minds and is inciting more of the same. Some perform extraordinary and dangerous acts to post on social media in order to get people to click on the videos or images. The amount of hits adds to his psyche as something that increases his ego.

While the benefits or harms of psychiatry are not published, they should be published. This is a dangerous time-wasting pastime that is worse for some than using drugs. It is a drug and it is highly addictive as one can easily go an hour or two without even realizing how much time has passed. It detracts from normal learning and family time while missing important things.

Nothing can or will change people’s habits and one must look at the amount of money the company makes to know that the goal of addiction is money. These sites are great advertisers and are paid very high every time one is exposed to an ad. This is what those who can’t help but connect with them should notice.
